GOING HOME FOR CHRISTMAS | BLOGMAS DAY 24

Happy merry Christmas Eve everyone!! I hope you are having a wonderful time with family and friends if you get together on the 24th! 

Today I just want to share how grateful I am with everything, school, my job, my family and of course my dog! I just miss my family and I am in the train right now typing this up waiting to get home. Currently I am in Bakersfield waiting to leave. It has been a looong day for me.

Today I woke up at 5 AM to get to work at 7 AM and got off at 10 AM technically I was supposed to get off at 11:30, but my manager let me clock out  early since she knew that my train left at 12 noon. After work I got to the dorms and then got a Lyft to go to the train station. 

Here is a picture of me and Santa, Rudolph, elf, and snowman. Lol my manager made me get a picture with them! 

And she kindly got me a treat for my train ride, she is so nice. 

This train ride is 10 hours and I need some fuel, so right now I’m going to go to the cafe bar and grab me some foodies.

 I will see you guys tomorrow! Christmas Day has finally came!! Yaayyy!! When I get home I’m going to have to wrap the presents. Omg I am so excited!!!

HOLIDAY FAMILY TRADITIONS | BLOGMAS DAY 7

18 more days until Christmas!! We are almost there! 

I love family traditions. They are very important to me and I enjoy doing these different traditions with my family. I remember when I was younger I would always get excited every year as we were getting closer the holidays. Everyone has different traditions, which it is interesting to know what that one person does. For example, when I went to my jobs holiday meeting each employee mentioned their traditions, which was very interesting to learn what everyone does for the holidays. 

For me, my family traditions are pretty much the same from what I remember, but some things have changed. The usual tradition is, of course, decorating our house, which I love getting everything to get it all Christmasified. My mom is a Christmas decoration fan every year she is buying something very cute, I feel like my mom just likes to buy Christmas things for the house rather than other things. But I would be the same if I were her! lol 

Another tradition we have is hitting the piñata with my family, which this is usually just a tradition with my family in Mexico when we go visit during Christmas. We don't really do this tradition here in the US with my dad's family, but we do like to hang out with the fams and basically just eat. 

Another tradition is opening Christmas presents on Christmas Eve, Question: who opens there gifts on Christmas morning? I do enjoy opening our gifts the day before Christmas day because we have done this since we were young and I am so used to it, which now we sometimes leave some gifts to open on Christmas morning. 

So those are basically some of the traditions we have done with my family since I remember! What are your traditions? If you do celebrate Christmas. :)

CANDY CANE NAILS | BLOGMAS DAY 23 ♡

ahhhh Christmas eve is tomorrow!! waahooo!

I am so excited for Christmas Eve because I get to hang out with my family. It is going to be so awesome! yeaahhh! 

Literally, I can't wait for the yummy food. I am ready to eat like a pig tomorrow. hehe 

It will be a short post today! :( ...So, today I will be showing you my "candy cane" nails. I called them like that because I decided to add a white nail to one of my nails. I thought it would look cute and perfect for tomorrow! They are simple, but cute (I think). 

P.s. I forgot to take off the sides of the nail varnish. woopsies!

THE CHRISTMAS TAG | BLOGMAS DAY 11 ♡

I have been wanting to try this tag for the longest time, so I thought it would be perfect for a blogmas post! I first saw this tag when I started watching Zoella Sugg on youtube. Here is her video as well Click here and then I was going through blogposts on bloglovin and came to Amy's corner and she had done it as well! So, I decided to do this post (and I added one extra question)! ooo rebel! lol 

1. What is your favorite Christmas movie(s)? My favorite movies are Elf, the Grinch, Love actually, Nightmare Before Christmas, etc. There are so many more to write down! 
2. Do you open your present on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning? I open mine on Christmas day, when Christmas eve is over, so like at midnight. Even thought it feels like I open them on Christmas Eve! 
3. Do you have a favorite Christmas memory? I do! I loved going to Mexico to visit my Grandma and uncles/aunts during Christmas. The one thing that I remember is when all the adults would tell all the kids to go upstairs and put our pjs on because Santa was coming to leave the presents, so we would run and someone would say "HO HO HO"..all the kids would be screaming of excitement like c'mon I think every kid gets excited to hear that! haha And we would run down to see all or presents under the tree! We were happy little kids with our gifts from Santa.
4. Favorite festive food? hhmm, I think my favorite festive food is probably Tamales, Pozole, and Buñuelos!
5. Favorite Christmas gift? I think my favorite gift ever was when my parents gave us the playstation 2 when I was young. I was so happy because back then I loved to play video games, like crash, rugrats, Ratchet and clank, mario (practically all of them!). 
6. Favorite Christmas Scent? My favorite Christmas scent is the tree smell or the winter cranberry candle from Bath and Body works!
7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions? YES! We celebrate by of course having our traditional food, we play games (gift exchanges), hit the piñata, watch christmas movies. 
8. What tops your tree? What tops our tree is a big...very BIG bow! :)
   
9. As a kid, what was the one gift you always asked for but never received? I think one gift that I never received was probably Barbie dolls and things like that! haha I remember I would always ask for dolls and never receive them! I would always be sad! 
10. What's the best part about Christmas for you? I think the best part of Christmas for me is that I get to spend it with my family! Again, when I would visit my Grandma in Mexico. Also, opening gifts! ohh look how excited I was to open this gift! My face is just not cute. haha
    
                              
11. Real or fake Christmas tree? Our Christmas tree is a fake tree! Even though I have been wanting to get a real tree, but I love it as much as if we had a real tree.
