MAKE YOUR APARTMENT FEEL LIKE HOME | Lifestyle ♡

Hey! How is everyone? So as the new school year has started once again, everyone has been moving to their new apartments, college dorms, or a house, which it is very exciting! Moving away is quite hard, but I promise it will be easy by making it like it is your own home! Being someone that has lived with family is hard to move away from them, but you get used to it! I have been living in San Diego for a year now and I have really enjoyed being here, being so close to cute shops, coffee shops, and a plus, the beach! Though, moving in an apartment or dorm it is quite hard to post things in rooms with thumbtacks because you will get fined if you leave holes on walls if you are renting a house, so instead of using thumbtacks, you can use frames, mounting puddy, tape, or even command strips for your photos. 

I will be giving you some tips on how I made my place (my room since I share an apartment with a few other girls), so I will just be giving you a little tour of my room through images. Which I will let you in on how you can get settled in your first apartment/house and how to make it feel like home! P.S. Sorry for the pictures, I had a bad lighting day). 

First: Bring a lot of frames! You can put frames of your loved ones around your dorm room! Either put them on your desk or hang them next to your bed on the wall! Also a cool way to show your photos is an Electronic photo frame. They are also a fun option because they let you show off a lot of photos even in a small space!

Second: Get a string with pom poms and photos or polaroids since they are super duper cute and clip them on the string. Such a cute idea I love to do!

Third: Any gifts you got that you received from a going away party, such as quote frames will really remind you of that one specific person that will remind you of home every time you look at it.

Fourth: Another idea that I like to do is any photos you have from photobooths is quite cute to put somewhere! For example, how I have here in my mini fridge and a magnet board!

Celebrating National Dog Day with Bombon

Hi everyone, how has everyone been lately? With National Dog Day coming, I am going to tell you all how Bombon has impacted my mental, physical, and spiritual health. Ever since my family and I got Bombon we have been so happy with him because he makes everyone's day. He loves to play with his toys, especially his Cheeseball (pictured below with his toy) that has been destroyed but still always goes back to that one. 

Having a fur baby made me realize how they can help anyone with mind, body, and spirit. Especially when I am gone for school has made me realize how a companion can make you feel relaxed and he has definitely helped me with stress back home when I was in community college and now that I am 8 hours away from home finishing my degree is hard not having Bombon. Every time I see people walking their dogs at school I always say, "I should just bring him with me."  They definitely help you reduce the feelings of stress, anxiety, and loneliness.

I also noticed that when one of us in the family is feeling down he will go and try to make you feel better. I think this is where Bombon has impacted me the most with the improvement of my mind because he knows when to boost my self-esteem. Everytime my sister and I go home for school break he receives us with jumps and kisses since he knows when were gone because he always sleeps in our room. 

Though there are a lot of benefits that a dog can improve your health; lowers blood pressure, lowers cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and they can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Also, dogs can be trained to identify when a patient has a seizure, detect breast and lung cancer, detect things such as peanuts for allergic patients, aid in occupational and speech therapy, detect biomarkers of prostate cancer in urine and help with physical rehabilitation. 

P.S. Something Bombon loves to do is waiting for my mom to wake up, he waits at her door and when we tell him "lets go with the moms" or "where's the moms?" he goes crazy excited and is so alert because he knows my mom is the one that is mostly always with him and loves being around her.

CHRISTMAS SWEATERS FOR DOGS | BLOGMAS DAY 22 ♡

So, I was on polyvore and searched some dog sweaters. I think they are perfect for the winter season. My dog has a baby blue one with a little snowman! I thought it was super cute. My sister found it at Marshalls. 

Here he is with his cute sweater! I bathed him and he kind of slept for a little, since the bath relaxed him. He is such a crazy pup! I cannot believe he is already 2.

GIFT GUIDE FOR HIM | BLOGMAS DAY 9 ♡

I messed up on the Gift whoops!

 I think gifts for men are hard to choose because I feel that they are more picky than women! So, here are some guilt guides that I did and think they are perfect. On the picture above I added a leather jacket and a coat, so they can keep warm during the winter! Also beanies and snapbacks are perfect as well.

 I think you can put an outfit together that you think is your boyfriend, father, or brother's style! I think this is a perfect outfit in my opinion. :)

Ohh shoes? Yes1 this is a perfect gift for a guy! I think guys love shoes as much as a car. haha. You can go with any type of shoes they need or some fancy smanshy ones! ;) 

Oh, I forgot! Also, a perfect gift is a cologne. mmm I always love to smell the guys cologne because they smell very good! But, I think this would be a perfect gift as well! :)

Review | Avon Clearskin Daily Cleanser ♡

Hello everyone!!! :) 

Today I will be talking to you about this review on Avons' clearskin Daily cleanser.

So, I have been using this for about a month or two and let me just tell you, it is such a great product!
I really really love it! It has worked miracles on my face. I had bad acne, but I usually get some spots here and there. For example, right now as I am typing this I have like three spots on my chin (you know those ones under the skin that hurt so bad?) and that is where I usually get my spots. Also, on one side of my cheek. Which I HATE!

After I wash my face, if I have really ugly and huge spots I put a mask on my face, which is the Avon Pore Penetrating Black Mineral Mask. I will do a separate review on the mask! I love it so much!!
